  2. Importing TEXT

  4. You can import any file saved in TEXT format into a data window.

  6. Step 1
  7. Choose Open (Cmd-O) from the File menu.

  9. Step 2
  10. Locate and double-click a TEXT file in the dialog that appears, or select the file and click the Open button.

  12. The data appears in a new data window and is formatted according to the options you set in the TEXT File I/O Preferences dialog. Text is imported starting with the Home cell.
